Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills and stains) in one time without the need to switch out devices. They can also reduce space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.
A good combination bot will provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin and refill their water tank, and wash their mopping pads from an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer at a modest price, and it's one of the most simple robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and an easy-to-follow guide will have you up and running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at fast speeds and exert 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of pet hair, dirt and dried sticky spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a variety of brushes and attachments, and a user-friendly app that lets you select the type of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For example, you can decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the living and kitchen but go easy on the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to detect small obstacles that other models are unable to. The only drawback is that the robot tends to crash into walls and objects at full speed. However, a quick look at the cleaning history on the app will reveal exactly what the robot has done, where it is traveling, and what obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station shows you when maintenance tasks must be completed including emptying the debris tray, and cleaning the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank, with a 600ml bottle of Eufy's own solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop can operate for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, prior to having to recharge or returning to the base. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easily understood however we would have liked to be able to distinguish between a vacuum only or mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. It's not like the model from last year, this one features two agitators in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other particles that other robotic cleaners may overlook.
This Roborock model, like the other two I tested it has infrared and a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it get around obstacles like walls, furniture and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and includes dual cameras that can detect objects, and determine if they are walls or other surfaces. It can then automatically change its path and clean around them without missing a beat.
It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested and it comes with the most features. Its sleek and angular design is eye-catching and it has just three physical buttons that include the power button which can also restart cleaning; a mop-only button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can bring the robot back to its dock. The hinged lid can be lifted to reveal 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying, and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only downside I found to this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed) but it's a challenge to take off the mount itself to wash manually. I've observed that any carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mounts, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app also allows you to schedule cleanings, track the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering the performance otherwise.
3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and innovative features. Its intelligent design allows for customised and efficient cleaning while also saving time.
The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the best options available. This powerful vacuum can clean up dry mess, including pet hair and food particles. It also comes with a top-quality mop that leaves floors spotlessly clean, even with a wet pad. The X40 is also very quiet in operation and only occasionally bursting during mode changes or self-maintenance.
The X40 has a side brush that can be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are hard to reach and clean curved furniture like chairs and table legs. The robot can also reach under furniture with low profile which makes it a great choice for small apartments or condos. The side brush tilts automatically down when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that enables the X40 to prevent damage to floors from the frequent back-and-forth movement.
In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can also be programmed to eliminate areas with carpets and mop only hard floors, and reverse the process. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is simple and user-friendly and the X40's clever features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, change modes, look at floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy-to-maintain and offers many convenient features, making it a perfect choice for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, cleans the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. It will also tell you if the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models on the market. It has several features that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature of its mop heads, makes use of two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is more than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can vacuum up pet hair and small dirt particles - and also pick up spills and wet spots.
Its mops are also cleaned and dried inside the base station after each use. This is beneficial because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuum and mop models and could be a useful method to keep your home clean for longer.
There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleanings and adjust preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or you can utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and provides a number of options for customizing your cleaning routine. It also offers a number of features that aren't offered on other robots, for instance the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects any dust particles.
best robot vacuum cleaner has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and elegant. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list, but it's still not a lot of weight. It feels solid and well-constructed. Mopping is also well-designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors and in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to extend up to 2mm below the baseboards.
